Save the Children provides Food Box for Children for low-income households with the aim of improving children's food and nutrition situation during winter break.

 * Recipients of the boxes will be selected by a draw if the number of eligible applicants exceeds the number of boxes. 

[Application eligibility criteria] 
Households that meet all of the following application criteria 

1.Reside in Japan (You can apply regardless of your nationality) 
2.Include dependent children (or a dependent child) between the ages of 0 and 18 as of April 2, 2022 
3.With income percent tax exempt households or equivalent

* We are not able to accommodate individual needs related to allergies and any other dietary restrictions. If you have any food allergies, please check the product label before consuming. It is the responsibility of the recipient to manage the hygiene of the food items after receiving and to deal with allergies that could be caused by them. 

* Due to the increasing number of applications, we decided to reduce the number of items per household and increase the total number of boxes for distribution in order to support more families.

Recipients of the boxes will be selected by a draw among the eligible applicants if the number of eligible applicants exceeds the number of boxes (5000), and the boxes will be sent by the early December to the selected recipients.

Save the Children takes the protection of your personal information very seriously. We treat your personal information as confidential and will handle it in accordance with personal information protection legislation as well as with the terms of this statement. Personal information obtained at the time of application will be used for communication and procedures necessary for the implementation of this program including questionnaires and interview surveys, and for provision of information to applicants with regard to other activities of Save the Children. The personal information will be managed and stored responsibly by Save the Children with the storage period of five years after the completion of this program. Save the Children outsources packing, shipping, and other operations to Intercrew Advance Ltd., in implementing this program and signs a non-disclosure agreement for personal information with Intercrew Advance Ltd. Save the Children will disclose address, name, and telephone number of applicants (hereinafter referred to as "address and other information") to Intercrew Advance Ltd. and its subcontractors as the personal information necessary for shipping, however Intercrew Advance Ltd. and its subcontractors will use this information only for the purpose of packing and shipping, and will delete the disclosed address and other information as soon as this work is completed.
